Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 26 – Cambodian Foreign Minister Sok Chenda Sophea will lead a delegation to take part in the Fourth Meeting of the Cambodia-Philippines Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (4th JCBC) in Manila on 27-28 August 2024, at the invitation of  Enrique A. Manalo, Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines.

"The meeting will follow up and review progress in implementing agreements reached during the Third Meeting of the Cambodia-Philippines JCBC in 2021, and chart a new course of action to further strengthen the long-standing relations between the two countries. The two ministers will also touch on regional developments and international issues of common interest and concern," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Monday (Aug. 26).

"During the visit, Minister Sok Chenda Sophea will pay a courtesy call on Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, and attend a luncheon hosted by Sara Duterte, Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines."
