Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 23 – Forte Insurance (Cambodia) Plc, Grid World Cambodia Co., Ltd, Bluewing Motors Co., Ltd, and WinCL Inc. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 22 August 2024 to explore a project focused on converting fuel to electricity.
Representatives from the four companies stated that the MoU marks a collaboration between Cambodian and Korean companies to bring advanced technology and enhance the accessibility of natural energy to consumers.
The purpose of the MoU is to foster environmental partnerships, with Forte Insurance taking the lead in studying the project.
This environmental initiative, led by the Korean company, aims to convert fuel to electricity, offering significant environmental benefits for Cambodia. The signing of this MoU is just the beginning, and the companies will continue to explore potential collaborative efforts in the future.
The joint study of this environmental project is driven by the recognition that extensive fuel use negatively impacts the environment. Therefore, the four companies have come together to explore the potential of electricity-based systems.
It should be noted that Forte Insurance was the first company to prioritise environmental considerations. The project is expected to take shape soon, in response to the environmental challenges posed by fuel consumption.
