Kampong Chhnang (FN), Jul. 27 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said that extending teaching hours in key target schools has gained the support of students' parents.
The premier spoke on Saturday morning (Jul. 27) during his meeting with primary school teachers in Kampong Chhnang province.
"Parents want their children to study more hours. [...] 90 percent of parents want their children to study overtime," the premier underscored.
At the same time, Samdech Thipadei also urged to pay attention to the safety of students in schools, particularly after school. The premier highlighted the importance of police or community assistance to facilitate traffic during this period.
