Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 17 – Cambodian President of the National Assembly Khoun Sudary sent a congratulatory letter to Sir Lindsay Hoyle on his re-election as the Speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom.

"On behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and felicitations to you on your re-election as the Speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom on 9 July 2024," according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Jul. 17).

"Under your clear-sighted leadership, I am confident that the longstanding bonds of friendship and multifaceted cooperation between our two legislatures and kingdoms will continue to deepen for the mutual benefits of our peoples.

Please accept, Honourable Speaker, the assurances of my highest consideration, and my best wishes to you as well as your colleagues for good health and great success."
