Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 12 – Cambodian Foreign Minister Sok Chenda Sophea received a courtesy call by Philippine Ambassador to Cambodia Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo on 10 July 2024, at the Ministry.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction with significant progress in bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas, including trade, investment, tourism and connectivity, and defense and security.

Minister Sok Chenda Sophea expressed his pleasure for his first official visit to the Republic of the Philippines and co-chairing the Fourth Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (4th JCBC) meeting which to be held in August in Manila to jointly explore ways to take the Cambodia-Philippines’ close ties to even greater heights for the mutual interests.

The two sides also reaffirmed their mutual support in regional and international fora.
