Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 4 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet underlined that those who choose the teaching profession demonstrate exceptional dedication, adding that such commitment is crucial and a source of national pride.

The premier spoke on Thursday (Jul. 4) during a graduation ceremony and an inauguration of teachers' dormitory at Phnom Penh Teacher Education College.

Samdech Thipadei also expressed gratitude to all student teachers for their dedication to the teaching profession. He likened the role of teachers to that of angels, alongside doctors. He explained that just as doctors respond to prayers for good health, teachers respond to prayers for success.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet added that the success of a medical professional is not measured by the amount of equipment they have, but by the number of patients who recover. Similarly, the effectiveness of a teacher is not defined by their personal strength, but by the achievements and success of their students.
