Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 30 – Cambodia’s homegrown CoolApp Messenger is now the number 1 Social Networking app on the Apple App store.

CoolApp is Cambodia’s first chat social network with foreign encryption standards – like Telegram and WhatsApp and is available on the App Store and Play Store.

CoolApp was, according to it’s creators, made by Cambodian technical business people who are IT professionals and was developed over the last three years, from 2021 to 2024.

CoolApp has many functions including Chat and Call and Video Call using international standard Data and Call.

Data is encrypted and secure using Internet Local (Dix) which makes the call clear voice and Chat send video images.

It also scores on speed for Cambodians, as it’s servers are based in Cambodia.

Lim Chea Vutha, Founder and CEO of CoolApp, said that CoolApp does not track, collect or store user data.

Founded of CoolApp added that CoolApp uses end-to-end encryption to ensure the most secure data and calls.
