Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 27 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet stated that private clinics have supported public hospitals by providing additional space when needed.

The premier spoke on Thursday (Jun. 27) at the celebration of the first National Day of Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSME Day 2024), held at Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Centre.

"If we could rely solely on public hospitals, even the eight-story Calmette hospital would not be able to accommodate all the patients,” stated the premier.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet highlighted that Cambodia's private clinics offer consultations and are accessible across provinces, effectively meeting the people's healthcare needs.
