Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 26 –Cambodian Foreign Minister received a courtesy call by Malaysian Ambassador to Cambodia Shaharuddin Bin Onn, on 25 June 2024 at the Ministry.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction with developed bilateral relations and cooperation in all sectors, particularly trade, investment, agriculture, Halal industry, ICT, and digital sectors.

The foreign minister and the ambassador recalled the official visit of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet to Malaysia with a warm welcome extended to the Cambodian delegation and fruitful outcome in February 2024.

Both sides concurred on the importance of convening the Third Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (3rd JCBC) meeting to enhance bilateral cooperation between Cambodia and Malaysia and explore other potential areas of the mutual interest at a mutually convenient time.

Both sides also discussed cooperation within ASEAN, the UN, and other international fora, where both nations have a history of mutual support and remain committed to continuing this tradition.
