Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 4 – Doulos Hope is making her debut in the vibrant capital city of Phnom Penh. Get ready to embark on an extraordinary journey at our Floating Bookfair.
The floating library is set to make its debut in Cambodia’s capital city, Phnom Penh. The organisation, which has previously visited nearly 500 port cities across 150 countries worldwide, will open its doors to the public at Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (TS3) from 5 June to 4 July 2024 (closed between 17-21 June 2024).
Visitors to the ship will be treated to a diverse selection of over 2,000 book titles covering a wide array of subjects, including science, medicine, the arts, languages, faith, hobbies, cooking, and sports. From children’s literature to academic texts, dictionaries, atlases, and more, there’s something to pique the interest of every member of the family.
The floating bookfair aims to foster a love for reading and learning while providing access to affordable literature. Opening hours are scheduled from Tuesday through Sunday, 12:30pm to 7:30pm, with the fair closed on Mondays.
