Phnom Penh (FN), May 20 – Maritime Asset Company, a subsidiary of Maritime Group, held a groundbreaking ceremony on 27 January 2019, for the construction of the "International Class Office Building," valued at approximately USD 30 million. The event was presided over by Okhna Heng Sithy, Chairman of Maritime Development Group, his spouse, and many distinguished guests.
The 24-storey office building, which is now under construction, is located along Samdech Techo Hun Sen Blvd (60-metre road), a developing business area that will feature modern buildings and an international business centre.
Maritime Group has realised its vision of becoming one of the leading diversified investment and development companies in Cambodia and the region, expanding into key areas including land and real estate development.
In addition, Maritime Group is developing the five-star SEA SENSE resort in Koh Sramoch, Sihanoukville. This project includes bungalows, hotels, family villas, casinos, and restaurants offering a variety of Khmer and international cuisines. The first phase is underway and is expected to be completed by the end of 2019, with the second and third phases scheduled for completion by the end of 2023.
