Seoul (FN), May 17 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet urged Dunamu, a virtual asset company, to expand its investment in Cambodia, speaking during a courtesy call by the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of the Dunamu Lim Jihoon on Friday morning (May 17) in Seoul, South Korea.

During the meeting, the Chief of Strategy expressed gratitude to Samdech Thipadei for granting him and his delegations the opportunity to pay a courtesy call and discuss work.

The chief strategy officer briefed Samdech Thipadei on Dunamu's business operations in several Southeast Asian countries, including Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia. He underlined the company's involvement in financial services, childcare, data management, and entertainment technology. Additionally, he conveyed Dunamu's interest in expanding its investment to other countries, including Cambodia.

For his part, Samdech Thipadei welcomed and expressed pleasure in meeting with Dunamu's CSO Lim Jihoon and the delegation. He thanked the company for its interest in investing in Cambodia's financial sector.

Premier Hun Manet underlined that Cambodia is making positive progress and ongoing efforts to modernise financial technology (FinTech) and related legal frameworks. He also added that Cambodia has potential in various other sectors, encouraging Dunamu to explore investment opportunities beyond the financial sector in Cambodia.
