Seoul (FN), May. 15 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and a high-level delegation arrived in the Republic of Korea on Wednesday (May. 15) for an official visit.

Samdech Thipadei led a high-level delegation on an official visit to the Republic of Korea from 15-18 May 2024 at the invitation of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.

“Samdech Thipadei and his spouse Pich Chanmony will be accompanied by First Vice-chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia Sun Chanthol, Cambodian Foreign Minister Sok Chenda Sophea, other ministers, key government officials, and representatives of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce,” according to the press release dated 13 May 2024.

“During his stay, Samdech Thipadei will hold bilateral talks with President Yoon Suk Yeol to discuss deepening partnerships and expanding multifaceted cooperation to elevate bilateral relations to new heights. The two leaders will witness the signing of several documents covering areas such as economic development and infrastructure.

Samdech Thipadei will have separate meetings with South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, and Speaker of the National Assembly Kim Jin-pyo. He will also take part in a Cambodia-ROK business forum and meet with Korean companies and Cambodians residing in the Republic of Korea.”
