Phnom Penh (FN), May. 13 – The families of Cambodian workers in Saudi Arabia expressed their happiness and gratitude to the Cambodian government for helping them return to Cambodia safely on 12 May 2024.

Pheach Nhor, the mother of Pov Srey It, expressed her happiness and delight upon seeing her daughter return to Cambodia. She said she was eagerly anticipating her daughter's return from abroad.

"I would like to thank the Royal Government for assisting my daughter's return to Cambodia, from the United Arab Emirates to Cambodia, including accommodation and food," said the worker's mother.

Meanwhile, Phorn Meng Chhon, the brother of the worker who had just returned from Saudi Arabia, expressed his happiness after his sister safely returned to Cambodia. He said, "I am very excited that you have safely returned to Cambodia. I thank the Ministry of Labor for assisting all migrant workers successfully."

So Naphon, the sister of So Chenla, echoed the sentiments of other workers' families. She said, "I am very happy and grateful to the Royal Government, the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, and all stakeholders who tirelessly assisted the workers in their return."

Please note that the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training has arranged for the families of workers to gather at the Ministry of Labor and provided transportation for their return home.
