Phnom Penh (FN), May 9 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet affirmed that the Royal Government in this mandate aimed to maintain peace and stability, promote economic growth, and resolutely oppose the disintegration of Cambodia.

The premier spoke on Thursday (May 9) during an inauguration of Cambodia Confederation of Investors Association (CCIA) at Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet underscored, "Over the past eight months since the inception of the new Royal Government, our foremost priority has been to uphold peace, security, and social stability. We are committed to achieving and sustaining this outcome as an essential endeavour."

Samdech Thipadei underscored the Royal Government's role in maintaining peace and stability, Cambodia’s open market, and other factors crucial to meeting the demands of the private sector. Under the leadership of Samdech Thipadei, the Royal Government does not rely solely on theory but actively conduct on-site visits to deliver tangible results.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet also announced to maintain macroeconomic stability and economic growth, with Cambodia achieving 5 percent growth in 2023. According to the forecast, the Cambodian economy will continue to grow even higher.
