Phnom Penh (FN), May 9 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said that the Royal Government in this mandate pays high attention to private sector and free market system to drive development and achieve the vision of becoming a high-income nation by 2050, while also improving citizens' livelihoods.

The premier spoke on Thursday (May 9) during an inauguration of Cambodia Confederation of Investors Association (CCIA) at Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet stressed the need for more active and effective Public-Private Partnerships. According to Samdech Thipadei, the Royal Government is committed to enhancing the role and rights of the private sector to contribute to planning, implementation, and shared responsibility in bolstering the national economy.

Taking this occasion, Premier Hun Manet said that the private sector as well as the Royal Government has an obligation and participation to make this partnership successful.
