Phnom Penh (FN), May 6 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, on Monday (May 6), announced to allow blood relatives of the 20 soldiers, who were killed in the bombing incident in the Military Region 3 based in Kampong Speu on April 27, to serve in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces.

"I saw the request of Chea Samnang Raksmey Satya, the son of Lieutenant Colonel Chea Samnang, a soldier who was killed in the bombing incident in the Military Region 3, to serve in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces to succeed his father. I agree with the request. Besides, I will allow the blood relatives of the 20 deceased soldiers (either their children, grandchildren or siblings and can be male or female) to serve in the military,” the premier wrote on his Facebook.
