Sihanoukville (FN), May 1 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet affirmed that as long as Cambodia maintains peace, the capabilities of Khmer children are no less than those of others.

The premier spoke on Wednesday (May 1) during his meeting with workers at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port.

“With peace, Cambodian children will thrive. Our ancestors, during times of peace, constructed thousands of temples. Today, our greatest opportunity lies in safeguarding peace and stability at any cost, enabling us to pursue further historical accomplishments,” the premier underlined.

Samdech Thipadei continued, the pursuit of happiness does not entail merely seeking peace while neglecting others. Cambodia has demonstrated its commitment by deploying Blue Berets abroad to combat cross-border and regional crime.

Over the past 40 years, we have achieved significant milestones. In the last eight months alone, Samdech Thipadei has had the privilege of inaugurating remarkable historical achievements established since the tenure of Samdech Techo. These include international airports, ports, roads, and there are plans for even more historic canals in the future.
