Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 28 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet expressed gratitude to citizens both inside and outside the country for their landslide support for the Funan Techo Canal project, which enables Cambodia to achieve independence in waterway transport.

The premier spoke on Sunday (Apr. 28) during his meeting with more than 5,000 representatives of informal economy at OCIC, Phnom Penh.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei underlined that Cambodian people both inside and outside the country, regardless of political tendencies, have sent supportive messages to ensure that Cambodia achieves independence in waterway transport, thereby boosting the economy through the construction of the Funan Techo Canal Project.
