Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 24 – Lok Chumteav Neak Oknha Mao Chamnan, the spouse of Neak Oknha Kith Meng, CEO of Royal Group, brought a donation of USD 999,999 to the Cambodian Red Cross on the occasion of the 161st anniversary of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, which falls on 8 May 2024.

The donation handover ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Cambodian Red Cross on Wednesday (Apr. 24), with Ouk Maly, Treasurer of the Cambodian Red Cross, presiding over the event.

This year marks the 29th consecutive year of active support from Neak Oknha Kith Meng and Lok Chumteav in assisting the Cambodian Red Cross. Notably, Kith Meng, on behalf of the President of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce, also appealed for members to contribute to the Cambodian Red Cross in commemoration of the 161st Anniversary of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day on 8 May 2024.
