Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 24 – Laotian President Thongloun Sisoulith commended the leadership transition in Cambodia, highlighting the smooth succession process that has upheld stability and fostered development.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet met Laotian President Thongloun Sisoulith on 23 April 2024 at the Peace Palace.

During the meeting, the Laotian president noted that in the past eight months since Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet taking office, Cambodia has maintained political stability and made significant progress in terms of security, peace, economic growth, and the enhancement of living standards for its people.
