Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 23 – The Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia is pleased to announce to the tourism association, tourism operators, private sector, journalists, national and international tourists, the public and relevant stakeholders that, as part of the implementation of the "Cambodia-China People-to-People Exchange Year 2024", the Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in collaboration with the People's Administration of Henan Province and Siem Reap Provincial Administration, will be hosting the "Cambodia-China Cultural Tourism Exhibition" along with "When Shaolin Meets Bokator at Angkor Event" to be held at the Northern Part of Bayon Temple on 24 April 2024 at 7:30 AM.
"The event aims to jointly promote tourism between Siem Reap province and Henan province, featuring a joint performance between Shaolin and Bokator. The event is expected to be attended by more than 500 people, including Cambodian-Chinese high-ranking officials, tourism associations, journalists, relevant institutions, Shaolin martial arts performers and Bokator martial arts performers," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Apr. 23).
"Therefore, we kindly request all Tourism Associations, Private Sector, Relevant Institutions, National and International Journalists and the Public to be informed, actively participate, and widely disseminate the aforementioned event through all means to attract more Chinese tourists and investors to visit and invest in Cambodia, and also contribute to the successful implementation of the "Visit Siem Reap 2024" and "Cambodia-China People-to-People Exchange Year 2024"."
