Takeo (FN), Apr. 11 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet urged citizens nationwide to celebrate the Khmer New Year with joy and mutual respect.

The premier spoke on Thursday (Apr. 11) during an inauguration of Kirisu Dairy Farm in Takeo province.

"I encouraged all citizens, especially the youth, to fully embrace the spirit of the Khmer New Year celebration by participating in traditional games. We have organized numerous traditional games for everyone to enjoy,” the premier underscored.

The Khmer New Year will take place for four days from 13-16 April 2024.
