Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 6 – The Ministry of Women's Affairs will organize the Official Launch Ceremony of Neary Rattanak VI Strategic Plan 2024-2028 on Monday, 8 April 2024 from 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M at Sun & Moon Riverside Hotel.

"Neary Rattanak VI is a master plan for promoting gender equality and empowering women and girls in Cambodia within 5 years (2024-2028), designed to respond to the situations and the evolution of society, which aligns with the policy framework of the Royal Government of Cambodia particularly, contributing to the implementation of the Pentagonal Strategy-Phase I, Cambodian Sustainable Development Goals Framework, and the commitments of the United Nations and region," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Satuday (Apr. 6).

This Official Launch Ceremony is an important national event to set the tone for the strategy's implementation and ensure that all key partners and stakeholders are aligned with the national vision to promote gender equality and women's empowerment. This event will be attended by approximately 500 participants from across the country, representing ministries, institutions, diplomats, civil society organizations, national and international development partners, policymakers, researchers, academia, youth, and sub-national levels.
