Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 4 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet highlighted that in order to achieve the target plan to enhance public administration tasks, it required unity of purpose and the courage to make decisions.

The premier spoke on Thursday (Apr. 4) during the closing 2023 annual meeting of the Ministry of Civil Service at the Premier Centre Sen Sok.

"This is not an ordinary task; it necessitates unanimity, shared purpose, and a singular goal: to complete the reforms within 10-15 years," the premier stated. "It's highly effective.”

Samdech Thipadei underscored that the importance of initiating and implementing comprehensive efforts at both national and sub-national levels to establish a robust and efficient public administration.

On the occasion, Premier Hun Manet expressed gratitude to all officials at the Ministry of Civil Service who contributed to these endeavors. The premier acknowledged that while some tasks might be new, they are not baseless and lack a clear vision.

Furthermore, the premier underlined the necessity of innovation in all endeavors, underscoring that innovation is crucial for problem-solving. Samdech Thipadei highlighted that the courage required in decision-making, starting with the officials at the Ministry of Civil Service.
