Hainan (FN), Mar. 29 – Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Supreme Privy Council to the King, led a high-level delegation to return home on Friday (Mar. 29) after successfully concluding their mission in China.

At the invitation of Secretary General of the Boao Forum for Asia Li Baodong, Samdech Techo Hun Sen led a high-level delegation to attend the forum's annual conference in China's Hainan Province from 27 to 29 March 2024.

Samdech Techo delivered a speech at the opening of the conference whose theme this year is "Asia and the World: Common Challenges, Shared Responsibilities". The forum brought together government, business and academic leaders with international and regional organizations to discuss major development issues and promote international cooperation.

During his stay, Samdech Techo received a courtesy call by General Manager of the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) Chen Zhong, and visited the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences and Wenchang International Aerospace City.

On the sidelines of the forum, Samdech Techo also met senior Chinese leaders including Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji, Member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Political Bureau and Second Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission He Weidong, and Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China Feng Fei.
