Hainan (FN), Mar. 28 – Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Supreme Privy Council to the King, commended China for its responsibility as a global leader and its significant role in supporting the progress of countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

Samdech Techo spoke on Thursday (Mar. 28) at the opening ceremony of Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference under the theme "Asia and the World: Common Challenges, Shared Responsibilities" in Hainan Province, China.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen underlined that China's "Belt and Road" initiative has facilitated the development of public infrastructure in various continents. These infrastructure projects are essential for development and disaster mitigation efforts, benefiting not only the recipient countries but also Cambodia.

Samdech Techo underscored, "We must acknowledge that China's growth and development model has enabled mutual prosperity among nations."
