Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 13 – Cambodian Foreign Minister Sok Chenda Sophea and Japanese Parliamentary Vice-minister for Foreign Affairs Komura Masahiro, will sign the Exchange of Notes and accompanying documents on the extension of a Yen Loan for JPY 21,104 million (around USD 154 million) to implement a regional hospital development project, on Wednesday (Mar. 13) at the Ministry.

The provision of the said loan underscores Japan's steadfast commitment to supporting the Royal Government of Cambodia's endeavours to foster socio-economic development. It also contributes to reinforcing the long-lasting ties and close cooperation between the two countries which were upgraded to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2023, according to a press release seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Mar. 13).
