Kandal (FN), Mar. 12 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet expressed his pride in the accomplishments of Techo International Airport as it marks Cambodia's first achievement of having a top-tier international airport within its territory.

The premier spoke on Tuesday morning (Mar. 12) during the inspection of the construction of Techo International Airport in Kandal Province.

Samdech Thipadei underscored, "This achievement is the result of collective efforts, and I proudly boast about it because it belongs to the Khmer people and on Khmer soil."

On the occasion, Premier Hun Manet also added that anyone accusing him of boasting doesn't understand the significance of these achievements. Samdech Thipadei continued that his pride stems from the government's foresight and vision. He anticipates that upon the airport's completion next year and the influx of millions of visitors, it will not only serve the local industry but also benefit the people of Takeo, Kandal, and other provinces for years to come.
