Kuala Lumpur (FN), Feb. 27 – Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Hun Manet and the Cambodian Government for their assistance in resolving the issue of Malaysian victims affected by job scams. He also extended his thanks to the police and immigration officials for their attention and support.

Prime Minister Anwar spoke during a joint press conference with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on Tuesday (Feb. 27).

It is noteworthy that the Royal Government of Cambodia has demonstrated a strong commitment to cooperating with ASEAN member countries and other nations in combating human trafficking and labour exploitation. In the past, numerous victims of scams and labor trafficking have been liberated, and perpetrators have been apprehended.
