Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 19 – Cambodian Delegate Minister Jean François Tan expressed his admiration for the diplomatic skills of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, which have led to unexpected results.

Jean François Tan spoke on Monday (Feb. 19) during the press conference to present the achievements of the Royal Government in the new mandate under the leadership of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet at the Office of the Council of Ministers.

Jean François Tan underscored, "Reflecting on the results of the past six months, I have often found myself pleasantly surprised by the outcomes, especially during my accompanying Samdech Thipadei and the high-level delegation. In particular, you mentioned the recent official visit to France and Thailand. I do not dare to brag about my prime minister, but probably because of the talent of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet himseld."

Minister Jean François Tan underlined that with France, Samdech Techo Hun Sen has fostered a strong friendship with French President Emmanuel Macron, and has established positive relations with Thailand.

Jean François Tan added, despite the generally favourable situation, Premier Hun Manet possesses numerous advantages on the international stage. He possesses extensive knowledge and a keen understanding of various domains, ranging from micro-level issues to bilateral relations and macro-level concerns like geopolitics, both regionally and globally. This capability enables Samdech Thipadei to seek common ground, shared interests, and a unified vision during his visits abroad. When two countries discover mutual interests, it inevitably brings them closer and strengthens bilateral ties.
