Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 19 – Cambodian Delegate Minister, also Chairman of the Royal Government Spokesperson's Unit Pen Bona presented evidence that Samdech Techo Hun Sen was a remarkable leader in national building to the highest level in modern times for the last 500 years.
Cambodian delegate minister spoke on Monday (Feb. 19) at a press conference to present the achievements of the Royal Government in the new mandate over the past six months under the leadership of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet at the Office of the Council of Ministers.
Pen Bona highlighted the unprecedented peace and stability during Samdech Techo Hun Sen's era compared to previous periods in Cambodian history, spanning from the post-Angkorian era to modern times. He reiterated the development of a robust transportation system, including highways and expressways, which has interconnected the country smoothly.
Under Samdech Techo's leadership, Cambodia witnessed the emergence of skyscraper buildings in Phnom Penh, ensuring food security, and facilitating nationwide and overseas travel for citizens.
Pen Bona continued that Samdech Techo Hun Sen provided citizens with modern equipment and supplies, resulting in a significant increase in the number of graduates annually, which has propelled Cambodia's societal and economic progress to unprecedented heights in the last 500 years.
"This is clear evidence. This can be verified. It can be said that under the leadership of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Cambodia reached the highest level in the last 500 years. Let me confirm that Samdech Techo Hun Sen led the country to this level, which I call the highest level in modern history. Which level did he start leading the nation? He started leading the nation from the ashes, blood, and tears after the Khmer Rouge regime," the minister delegate underscored.
"Now we imagine that if Samdech Techo Hun Sen had led the country since the Sangkum era of the Cambodian late king father, which already had all kinds of infrastructure and did not go through the Khmer Republic of Lon Nol regime, and Pol Pot regime, can we imagine how far Cambodia's development will go? How much is the difference?" Bona added.
That is clear evidence to assure that the Royal Government led by the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) under the leadership of Samdech Techo Hun Sen and now the Royal Government is succeeded by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet is the head of the Royal Government that leads Cambodia to the highest level of development. Now, the second-generation successor of the Cambodian People's Party has been working for six months. This new generation can be called the second generation of strong new leaders of the CPP.
Lastly, Pen Bona expressed confidence in the new leadership's ability to expedite Cambodia's development, building upon the robust foundation established under the leadership of Samdech Techo Hun Sen.
