Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 15 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet stated that the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications’ “verify.gov.kh” winning the gold medal at the ASEAN Digital Awards 2024 served as a tangible demonstration of Cambodia's capabilities.

The premier spoke on Thursday (Feb. 15) during an inauguration of the National University of Management II and a graduation of more than 5,000 students.

"This accomplishment stands as a concrete testament to the prowess and capability of Cambodian youth when provided with opportunities. With the right guidance and policies, we are poised to compete effectively,” the premier added.

Samdech Thipadei continued, "This represents our national pride, showcasing what we have accomplished in the past 40 years. We are fortifying this foundation even further, harbouring no doubt that Cambodia will persist in its forward momentum, running swiftly and emerging victorious.”

On the occasion, the development of human resources has not only heightened Cambodia's competitiveness but has also played a pivotal role in fortifying the nation's sovereignty.

On 1 February 2024, verify.gov.kh, the Cambodian Government's document verification platform developed by Cambodia's Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, won a Gold Medal in the ASEAN Digital Awards 2024 hosted in Singapore under the auspices of the 4th ASEAN Digital Ministers Meeting (ADGMIN).
