Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 26 – On 25 January 2024, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Prak Nguon Hong received a courtesy call by New Zealander Ambassador to Cambodia Jonathan Kings with residence in Bangkok on 25 January 2024 at the Ministry.
During the cordial meeting, both sides expressed their satisfaction over the achievement of the good and long-standing relations between Cambodia and New Zealand and pleasure that the two countries have reached the 65th Anniversary of diplomatic relations.
In addition, both sides discussed priority areas of cooperation, including human resource development, demining, tourism, health, trade and investment, mutual support on international arena, and agreed to explore ways to enhance bilateral relations as well as reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, both sides also exchanged views on sustainable economic growth, tourist attractions, people-to-people exchanges, and issues of common concerns such as climate change, regional and international issues.
