Paris (FN), Jan. 18 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and his delegation arrived in France safe on 17 January 2024 (Paris time).

At the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, Samdech Thipadei will pay an official visit to France from 18-19 January 2024.

“Samdech Thipadei will be received by President Emmanuel Macron for official talks at the Palais de l'Elysee. The meeting between the two leaders offers an auspicious opportunity for both governments to reaffirm their collective commitment to elevating their traditional relations of excellent cordial friendship to a new height, charting a course of action to enhance and expand mutually beneficial cooperation within both bilateral and multilateral frameworks, and collaborating to tackle global challenge while upholding a rule-based international order,” according to Cambodian Foreign Ministry’s press release dated 12 January 2024.

During his stay in France, the premier will pay a courtesy call on the President of the Senate Gérard Archer and the President of the National Assembly Yaël Braun-Pivet.
