Paris, Jan. 15 (FN) – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet stated that his meeting with Cambodian citizens residing, studying, and working in Europe aimed to both assess their well-being and provide updates on Cambodia's advancements.
The premier spoke during a meeting with the Cambodian community living in Europe on 14 January 2024 in Paris, France.
"Thank you all for being part of this meeting, embodying the essence of unity, love, and understanding as one. Despite baseless claims from some individuals suggesting that incentives were provided to participants, I want to make it clear to those ill-intended individuals not to underestimate the spirit of national unity among Cambodian citizens. The bond we share transcends mere words, as our unity is as strong as blood ties,” Samdech Thipadei underlined.
Samdech Thipadei further reiterated that Cambodian citizens consistently prioritize their national interests, irrespective of their current place of residence or study and regardless of prevailing circumstances. Notably, Samdech Thipadei himself also pursued studies in a foreign country, providing firsthand insight and a deep understanding of such situations.
