Koh Kong (FN), Jan. 8 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet announced that on 25 January 2024, he will launch a program to promote investment in Sihanoukville, speaking during his meeting with about 11,000 workers in Koh Kong province on Monday (Jan. 8).

"On January 25, I will unveil a new and special program dedicated to addressing specific construction challenges in Sihanoukville," said the premier.

Please note that Sihanoukville holds significant economic importance for Cambodia, akin to the thriving high-rise developments in Phnom Penh. Nevertheless, amid the COVID-19 crisis, the proliferation of high-rise structures in Sihanoukville has resulted in some buildings being abandoned by their owners.
