Tokyo (FN), Dec. 20 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet underlined the Royal Government's support and facilitation for the ongoing operations of the Cambodia-Japan Digitalised Manufacturing Centre (CJDM), a crucial training facility for Cambodian human resources.
The premier received a courtesy call by a member of the Board of Directors of DMG Mori Masahiro Yanagihara on 19 December 2023 in Tokyo, Japan.
On the occasion of the meeting, Masahiro Yanagihara expressed gratitude to Samdech Thipadei for allowing him and his delegation to pay a courtesy call and share insights into the business activities of DMG MORI, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of Computerised Numerical Control (CNC), bending, ultrasonic, 3D printers, and parts training, repair, and maintenance services.
DMG MORI, with 12 manufacturing plants and 113 sales offices across 88 markets worldwide, has partnered with the CJDM to train senior industrial human resources, addressing the challenges of Industry 4.0 in Cambodia and the region.
In response, Samdech Thipadei welcomed the meeting with Masahiro Yanagihara and his delegation, expressing gratitude and appreciation for the support and technical assistance provided for the development of the CJDM and the training of Cambodian human resources.
On the occasion, the premier underscored their active contribution to the Royal Government's strategy in achieving the vision of Cambodia as an upper-middle-income country by 2030 and a high-income country by 2050.
During the meeting, Samdech Thipadei underscored that the Royal Government of Cambodia has prioritised people in the Pentagon Strategy-Phase 1, focusing on enhancing human resources with knowledge and abilities. In this context, the Royal Government continues to support and facilitate the ongoing operations of the CJDM, serving as a crucial training hub for Cambodian human resources.
