Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 19 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet held a summit meeting with his Japanese counterpart Kishida Fumio, at the Japan's Prime Minister's Office on 18 December 2023.

"While the two countries are celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties this year, the two prime ministers pledged to work closely together to further strengthen their comprehensive strategic partnership through concrete multifaceted cooperation projects. They acknowledged the importance of strengthening cooperation in various areas including the economy, trade and investment, infrastructure, defense and security, energy, digital development, demining and public health," according to the outcomes seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Dec. 19).
