Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 18 – Secretary of State of Cambodian Foreign Ministry Prak Nguon Hong met with Justin Whyatt, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, at the Ministry on 15 December 2023.

During the cordial meeting, both sides expressed optimism about the good and long-standing relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Australia, according to the Foreign Ministry.

Both sides also discussed the relevant events to be held during the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit which will be hosted by Australia in March 2024 in Melbourne and the preparation for the fourth Senior Officials’ Talks between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs to be hosted by Cambodia in April 2024 in Siem Reap.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthening and enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
