Tokyo (FN), Dec. 16 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet extended his thanks to Cambodian students, interns, and citizens in Japan for their commendable role as ambassadors representing Cambodia and for earning the appreciation of Japanese citizens as diligent individuals.

The premier spoke in a meeting with the Cambodian community in Japan on Saturday (Dec. 16).

"I would like to express my gratitude to our Cambodian interns, citizens, and students living and studying in Japan for well representing the kingdom," the premier underscored.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei underlined that he met with many Japanese friends and they praised Cambodian citizens as innocent, honest, and hardworking. He emphasized that this is a source of pride for Cambodian citizens and a testament to the citizens who constructed the Angkor Wat temple.

Samdech Thipadei emphasized Cambodia's commitment to showcasing itself as a highly civilized and hard-working nation to the world.

Taking the occasion, Premier Hun Manet urged Japanese companies to pay attention to workers and trainees from Cambodia. He assured that, on behalf of the Royal Government, all Cambodians working abroad will be protected.
