Hanoi (FN), Dec. 12 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet stated that fostering relationships between Cambodian and Vietnamese youth is a crucial element in enhancing Cambodia-Viet Nam relations.

The premier received a courtesy call by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Bui Quang Huy on 12 December 2023 in Hanoi, Viet Nam.

During the meeting, Bui Quang Huy thanked Samdech Thipadei for taking the time to allow him and his delegation to pay a courtesy call. He also congratulated Samdech Thipadei on his recent election as the Vice President of the Cambodian People's Party.

On that occasion, Bui Quang Huy expressed optimism that under the wise leadership of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, the bond between Cambodian and Vietnamese youths will further solidify.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet thanked Bui Quang Huy for sharing positive ideas about youth initiatives in Vietnam. He underlined that the connection among youth is crucial to promote more activities in all areas, especially young people in the business community, which is an indispensable contribution for strengthening ties and fostering cooperation in all fields between the two countries.
