Hanoi (FN), Dec. 12 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet received a courtesy call by Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank for Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV) Phan Duc Tu on Tuesday (Dec. 12) in Hanoi, Viet Nam.
During the meeting, Phan Duc Tu thanked Samdech Thipadei for allowing him and his delegation to pay a courtesy call and provide information about the business activities of BIDV Bank, which was established in 1957. In Cambodia, BIDV engaged in various business activities beyond banking services, supporting the Cambodian-Vietnamese trade and investment sector. The bank also contributes to human resource training in the banking sector and provides scholarships to students.
In response, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet welcomed the presence of the management of BIDV Bank and expressed gratitude for their investment in the Cambodian financial sector. He acknowledged the remarkable success of BIDV Bank in its business operations and encouraged the company to expand its service scope and introduce new technologies in financial services for Cambodian customers.
The premier also commended BIDV's contribution to promoting human resource training through scholarship programs for Cambodian students.
