Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 11 – The extraordinary congress of the nationwide representative of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) highly appreciated the works results of the Royal Government in the 7th mandate under the leadership of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, which, in its short term of office, scored numerous results with pride.

“The congress fully supports the Royal Government of the 7th legislature of the National Assembly to successfully Implement the political program and the first phase of the pentagonal strategy for employment, growth, equity, efficiency and sustainability, with reform and strengthening governance as core elements focusing on the five priorities- "people, roads, water, electricity and technology" to protect, preserve and develop the national achievements, boost economic growth, make Cambodia a high-middle-income country by 2030 and build the foundation to achieve the vision of Cambodia becoming a high-income country by 2050,” according to the CPP’s resolution seen by Fresh News on Monday (Dec. 11).

At the same time, the congress highly appreciated the works results of the Royal Government, which, in its short term of office, scored numerous results with pride in maintaining stability, security and public order, promoting economic growth and addressing livelihood issues of the people, especially the formal implementation of the six priority policy programs and the five key measures that focus on strengthening capacity of public administration, improving the quality of education, improving the quality of health services, strengthening the implementation of safe village/commune/sangkat policies and strengthening and improving the quality and efficiency of justice system. These realities clearly reflect the correct strategic thinking of the party in organizing the successive forces to lead the nation, the resolution added.
