Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 8 – Cambodian Foreign Minister Sok Chenda Sophea received a courtesy call by CEO of ZBO Media Group and founder of the television show “Raid Amazones” Alexandre Debanne on 30 November 2023.

Alexandre Debanne presented his show “Raid Amazones”. It involves 300 women, from several French-speaking countries, in a six-day sporting competition. The 2024 edition would be scheduled in March 2024 in Siem Reap. A second edition would be planned in November of the same year. This TV program allows to show the French and residents of French-speaking countries the reality of Cambodia.

Foreign Minister Sok Chenda Sophea offered the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia in the organization of this event and stressed that Cambodia would be “very happy to be associated with this meaningful and rewarding project for the Kingdom.” This project is in line with the economic diplomacy strategy of the Ministry implemented since 2021.

The foreign minister and Debanne noted their shared views on Cambodia, “Raid Amazones” and the French-speaking area. They concluded that it was possible to study the future collaborations.
