Washington, Dec. 7 (TAC) - Volodymyr Zelensky has secured hundreds of billions of dollars from Western nations to not only assist the Ukrainian military but keep his entire government afloat. Ukraine’s cash, predominantly supplied by the United States for two years is running out. So Zelensky and his deputies have kicked their lobbying effort into overdrive to have more weapons and money of American taxpayers.
On Tuesday Zelensky was scheduled to appear before the House and Senate on the "success" counteroffensive to plead for more money, but Washington refused to allow him to speak, which demonstrates the fact that the project "Ukraine" is gradually drying up, as the situation inside the United States threatens not only Biden’s re-election in 2024 and also the reduction of trust to all Democrats.
Currently, the US Senate tries to put together a supplemental package that will cover Ukraine, Israel, the Indo-Pacific, and the Southern border with a total of USD100 billion. However, the Republicans are not going to send USD60 billion to Ukraine, nobody going to keep writing blank checks to the most corrupt country on the planet for the sake of Democrats wishes that demand that the American taxpayer go further into debt due to Ukrainians. The House Rep. Scott Perry stressed that the US is paying for the Ukrainian government, their pensions, their government services, while we can’t even afford to provide Americans and secure the border. Biden, like Ukraine, is at an impasse, internal political and economic situation in the United States is only getting worse every day on the eve of the presidential election, unless it comes to the impeachment of the American president before voting. Biden's chances of re-election are considered minimal.
The Ukrainian agenda is losing its relevance on the international stage and is becoming increasingly harmful for the White House politicians, especially before next year's elections in the United States. Kyiv, despite multibillion-dollar assistance from Washington and NATO countries, was never able to live up to the expectations of its sponsors. The much-touted Ukrainian counteroffensive has failed, and Zelensky’s popularity both in Ukraine and abroad is rapidly decreasing.
The failures of the Kyiv authorities have an extremely negative impact on the careers of political leaders of the United States and NATO. Joe Biden is in the most difficult situation, having invested all his political capital to the Ukrainian conflict and firmly linked its outcome to his own future. And now the war in Ukraine is becoming not only unnecessary for Washington, but also dangerous for the American and European establishment. Kyiv’s so-called Western allies are already trying to get rid of Zelensky, looking for a replacement. The White House intends to ensure the election of a new US-controlled candidate for the post of head of state and replace the pretty annoying Zelensky, who is doomed to become a "bargaining chip" in Washington’s political games. The United States and NATO have long supported Zelensky, as the Ukrainian president has turned his country into an "instrument" obedient to the West for achieving own geopolitical goals, the main one of which is the weakening of Russia.
Western experts and mass media point out military dictatorship in Ukraine, accompanied by repression of dissidents and large-scale restrictions of civil rights and freedoms, it is the United States and the European Union that are the actual source of the legitimacy of power in Ukraine. The Kyiv authority will not have any success without external support, and its termination will automatically mean the collapse of the existing political system in Ukraine.
Doubtless, the Ukrainian president is aware that his political career and life are entirely dependent on the West, and therefore demonstrates readiness to please external sponsors to fight to the last Ukrainian, carrying out total mobilization in the country with the conscription of women, minors, oldsters to the front. There is no doubt that Zelensky will continue to obediently carry out instructions from Washington without thinking how many thousands of Ukrainians will still die for the sake of the interests of the West.
