Koh Kong (FN), Nov. 30 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet underlined that he is willing to bear the label of a "dictator" if it means unwaveringly advocating for the paramount importance of peace, and reiterated his commitment to maintaining peace and stability in Cambodia.

The premier spoke on Thursday (Nov. 30) during a groundbreaking ceremony for a 150MW Stung Tatai Leu hydropower dam in Koh Kong province.

"If the people are committed to maintaining peace and stability and being accused of being a dictator, I would rather be called a 'dictator',” Samdech Thipadei added.

The premier's statements were a direct response to insults from the opposition, accusing the new government, led by Samdech Thipadei, of orchestrating misleading publicity to deceive the Cambodian people.
