Kampong Chhnang (FN), Nov. 22 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet urged the people to trust the new government and underlined the Royal Government’s commitment to boosting infrastructure development for the benefit of the current generation.

The premier spoke on Wednesday (Nov. 22) during an inauguration for the official use of National Road No. 5 from Prek Kdam to Battambang and groundbreaking for the construction from Serei Sophorn to Poipet.

"We must accelerate the growth of our country for the benefit of the people. Therefore, we must make concerted efforts to mobilize resources from all sectors responsibly. The focus should be on benefiting the people in this generation,” Samdech Thipadei underscored.

On the occasion, the premier highlighted that the efforts of the seventh-mandate Royal Government are to respond to the trust bestowed by the people who voted for the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) to lead the country. The Royal Government is committed to serving the people with utmost responsibility, channeling efforts into the development of infrastructure as part of the comprehensive plan to better serve the people.
