Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 21 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet stated that during the conflict in the Preah Vihear temple area, he could not find anarchic shooters. If he had found such individuals, he would have sent them to the battlefield to defend the territory.

The premier spoke on Tuesday (Nov. 21) during his 10th meeting with workers, held in Por Senchey district, Phnom Penh.

However, Samdech Thipadei called for an end to these air shootings, emphasizing that Cambodia currently enjoys a state of peace and tranquility.

It should be noted that the wild gunfire incident took place on 11 November 2023 on the Kirirom mountain as the local people heard a series of gunshots at about 21:00 on the same day. On 13 November 2023, the joint police force inspected the scene and found more than 200 spent shell casings.
