Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 14 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet underlined the Royal Government’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the citizens' well-being and capacity.
The premier spoke at the launching of the "Voluntary Social Security Program" and "Technical and Vocational Education and Training" for poor and vulnerable households, held on Tuesday morning (Nov. 14) at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.
"The objective of each generation of the Royal Government is to ensure the well-being of citizens, fostering a continual progression towards a better life, increased opportunities, enhanced strength, intelligence, and heightened capacity for the rapid development of the nation," the premier underscored.
Samdech Thipadei continued that in the past, war deprived Cambodia of opportunities. Today's generation, fortunately, has the opportunity to lay a solid foundation. In this sense, we need to strengthen the capabilities of the next generation, focusing on health, knowledge, skills, and job opportunities.
On the occasion, Premier Hun Manet added that the Royal Government has paid high attention to safeguarding the well-being of the people, starting from before birth and extending throughout their lives.
